Faherty, a New Jersey-based clothing company, opens a third Garden State store

Clothing company Faherty recently opened another store in New Jersey.

Faherty opened at The Grove in Shrewsbury on August 7. It is located at 567 Broad St. The new clothing store occupies 1,525 square feet of space between Coach and Talbots.

This is Faherty’s third Garden State spot. The others are in Short Hills and Spring Lake.

Faherty offers fashion styles for men, women and children, as well as accessories such as sunglasses, hats and beach items.

Most Faherty products are made from sustainable fibers such as organic cotton, cashmere, recycled polyester, linen and hemp.

New Jersey-born brothers Alex and Mike Faherty founded the brand in 2013. The duo grew up in Spring Lake and attended Ranney School in nearby Tinton Falls.

“It was sort of a no-brainer because we were looking at expanding to another store,” Alex Faherty told Asbury Park Press. “It’s cool. It’s fun to be there. I have all this nostalgia to go there.

The company now operates 40 stores nationwide.
