As Fran Fine (played by Fran Drescher) once said on The nanny: “But I have style, I have flair. How did I become a nanny?

Of course we are grateful that Fran did eventually becoming a nanny on the hit sitcom, as it led to six seasons of endless laughs and iconic moments. However, all of these episodes would have been less vivid without the protagonist’s stunning wardrobe.

The Queens-born fashionista has always surprised us with bold prints, unusual texture combinations and scene-stealing accessories. And luckily for us, we finally get the chance to dress like the character from ’90s TV, thanks to a collaboration between Drescher and consignment company thredUP (which you can buy here).

Drescher has partnered with the company, along with Zero Waste designer Daniel, to create a line of Nanny– inspired clothing using second-hand pieces that have been recycled into stylish clothing.

With the Nanny fits, the collection also includes home decor, pet beds, display bowls and more.

In a press release from thredUP, they wrote: “thredUP, one of the largest online resale platforms, has launched the thredUP x Zero Waste Daniel Full Circle collection, a recycled holiday collection made entirely of children’s clothing. opportunity. The company has partnered with The nanny star and style icon Fran Drescher to bring the trash-to-treasure collection to life for the ultimate fashion comeback.

Drescher herself spoke about the collection, saying, “One word: FAB-U-LOUS! I can’t believe these items were old clothes. Now they make the perfect lasting gift! I’ll be on everyone’s nice list.

Meanwhile, Zero Waste designer Daniel added, “With the magic of the holidays and the endless inspiration that is Fran, we’ve literally turned thousands of garments into truly unique, zero-waste gifts.”

Daniel, who consulted Nanny costume designer Brenda Cooper, has put together a collection of creations specifically inspired by Fran Fine from the show, including a geometric denim vest, a plaid skirt adorned with brown velvet and white lace, and a sparkly striped top (although that, unfortunately, all these special pieces have been sold).

Nonetheless, other pieces from the collection are still available, including collectible coats, beanies, shoulder bags and more, all items we think Fran Fine would approve of.
