Milano: The Fall/Winter 2022-2023 women’s fashion shows end on Monday at Milan Fashion Week, the six days of which gave an overview of the main fashion trends for the coming months.

The first noticed is the return of the shoulder pads that were the star of the eighties of the twentieth century. These pillows have seen most of the fashion shows during Milan week, and their size seemed exaggerated and very large.

And Dolce & Gabbana presented a collection of clothes that give more shoulders to the wearer. There were double-breasted suits in charcoal black or jackets ranging from orange, fuchsia to canary yellow.

And “Versace” bets to accentuate the contrast, through long oversized coats with a large width between the shoulders, in pale blue and pink colors, combined with tight shirts.

As for Prada, it introduced big black dresses with wide shoulders that emit chains that wrap around the neck.

There was a trend in the Milan Week shows for see-through dresses.

The house “Fendi” designed chiffon skirts, leaving a little room for imagination, in shades of pink, apricot and mint.

Transparency was also present in the collection of the N°21m brand, while Lorenzo Serafini, the creator of “Philosophie”, also chose shirts with round collars and prominent shoulder pads.

Missoni has recreated its famous zigzag pattern on sheer lurex sewn into shimmering dresses and long jackets. In its creations, Prada showed the legs through narrow skirts of transparent silk, ending below the knee, decorated with accessories in leather or gray wool.

Bottega Veneta has also embraced sheer for see-through, sheer dresses adorned with sheer sequins.

The fashions presented in Milan showed the extent of the thirst for creations that provide a feeling of comfort to the wearer, such as oversized and very soft coats that allow the wearer to wrap themselves in a way that gives them a feeling of warmth. .

Versace opted for a bright red puffer jacket with a belt, while Philip Plein adopted the same recipe for a cropped bomber jacket. As for the Italian “Diesel”, strong in the field of jeans, women wrap themselves in very large clothes in multiple colors, such as old pink and avocado green.

Bottega Veneta did not hesitate to present a tight dress in teddy skin, with a very precise cut.

And Dolce and Gabbana presented a warm, curly black and white faux fur coat. His collection is crowned with a cocoon-style coat painted black, which in an instant can be transformed into a sleeping bag.

Among the most important models that have spread widely on Milanese platforms are small shirts that look more like swimsuits than regular shirts. These shirts show every detail of the body except for a strategic part of the torso. To accompany these shorts, Missoni offered shiny pants and Diesel ripped jeans.

Among the creations is also the breast ring, for example, one of the black latex that the singer and designer Rihanna wore in the “Gucci” fashion show, and which showed her belly while she was pregnant.

As for Roberto Cavalli, the chest band is in mustard or emerald-colored mohair, accompanied by huge skirts or pants. And from the designer Fausto Buglisi black “cage-dresses” attached to the body, to which metal rings have been added with narrow strips of fabric on the chest.

There is another trend that appeared in Milan, but it is not suitable for everyone, rather it is aimed at a limited group, namely integrated suits, that is to say whose upper and lower match, and even the shoes.

Roberto Cavalli is particularly expressive of this trend with his signature leopard print with a matching leather pattern.

Etro chose crochet, while Blumarine offered a red long-sleeved version.
